Early Childhood

I’ve been visiting kindergartens and child care centres for more years that I have fingers and toes. My programs are rich with rhymes, songs and stories. I have completed the Workshop Requirement for Level 0ne of the Parent Child Mother Goose Program. I offer 20, 30 and 45 minute sessions. Costs available on enquiry.

Primary and Secondary Schools

Sometimes teachers are looking for stories for a specific event or to complement an aspect of the curriculum. I may be able to tailor a program to suit your needs. Just ask.

Libraries

I’m a familiar face in libraries and offer programs and talks for all ages and themed storytelling events.

Here’s an audio recording of me in the State Library of Victoria, where I told stories and presented at a forum for The Independent Type Exhibition.

Museums, Art Galleries, Botanical Gardens

I’m a familiar face in museums, art galleries and botanical gardens and offer talks and programs to compliment permanent and temporary exhibitions and special days. Both my picture books are published by Museums Victoria.

I’m currently working closely with Kate Gorringe-Smith and the Overwintering Project providing a performance component (where possible) at the launch of the exhibitions as they roll out across Australia.

My Stripes

I have a Diploma of Dramatic Art, National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and a Bachelor of Education (English/Drama), South Australian College of Advanced Education.
